Dyche still looking to strengthen Clarets

Cape Town - Burnley manager Sean Dyche has revealed that he remains on the lookout for more signings as he aims to improve the team's squad depth.

The Clarets have added Jack Cork, Jonathan Walters, Phil Bardsley, and Charlie Taylor so far, and Dyche is still open to making further additions.

Dyche may still be targeting a signing at centre-back after losing star defender Michael Keane to Everton earlier in the window.

“I think we have done well early on which is usually very difficult,” the Burnley boss said, according to the Lancashire Telegraph.

“If we can find the right people then we are still looking.

“Year on year we are trying to adapt the squad to be even stronger.

“That’s not just the 11, that’s the whole group, and we are nipping away at that.

“I think we are slightly stronger with the people that have come in.”
