Draxler agent denies imminent EPL switch

Cape Town - The agent of Germany international playmaker Julian Draxler confirmed his client is keen to remain with the Ligue 1 side PSG beyond the current transfer window.

Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea have all been linked with a move for the talented 23-year-old this week since Brazil superstar Neymar completed his world record €222 million switch to the Parc des Princess.

With Draxler having featured as the club's left-forward last season, rumours sparked that the former Schalke man was set to leave for England.

However, his agent Roger Wittman says his client is ready to fight for his place under manager Unai Emery.

"We are not interested in whether (French newspaper) L'Equipe wrote something," he told Sport 1 in Germany.

"There has been no change, it is not a topic.

"If somebody writes 'I have this information from (PSG chairman and CEO) Nasser Al-Khelaifi,' then I will consider it and call the president to speak about Julian's situation.

"Once again, though, this is not the case. So, everything has been said."
