Dortmund ward off Liverpool interest in Pulisic

Cape Town - Borussia Dortmund have sent a clear statement of intent to Liverpool regarding the Premier League club's reported interest in midfielder Christian Pulisic.

The Bundesliga outfit supposedly turned down a £12m bid from the Reds in the pre-season transfer window for the United States international, but the Reds are said to still see the 18-year-old as a potential acquisition.

However, Dortmund's sporting director Michael Zorc has now stated that even a much improved bid will not convince them to sell Pulisic.

"It's not worth the effort for Liverpool," he told Bild.

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
