Cape Town - Manchester City midfielder Fabian Delph insists that he offers something different to that of Yaya Toure and Fernadinho.
According to the Guardian, the 26-year-old says that he has a lot of energy and enjoys running which could work in City's favour.
"I’ve got a lot of energy," he said.
"It’s a strange thing to say but I love running. The fans will see that about me. But my end pass is a part of my game I’d like to improve.
"There’s a lot of midfielders in this squad. Fernandinho and Fernando both love pressing so I think I can slot in nicely with that type of player.
"Hopefully I can bring something different. But I’d like the other parts of my game to improve and I’m sure it will over time."
Delph has been warming the bench for most of the season since his arrival.
The midfielder remains determined to improve and says that this season is very important to him as he looks to break into the England squad for the European Championships in 2016.
"It’s a big year for me, different to other years. The opportunity is there for me to go and represent my country in a big tournament [Euro 2016]. Hopefully I can keep putting in good performances and make sure I go."
