Conte confirms Cuadrado return

Cape Town - Antonio Conte has confirmed that winger Juan Cuadrado will be given a second chance at Chelsea following his loan spell at Juventus.

Cuadrado joined the Blues for £23m from Fiorentina after an impressive 2014 World Cup campaign with Colombia, but failed to establish himself in the first-team under former boss Jose Mourinho.

Conte admits he's been a long-term admirer of the 28-year-old and revealed the player would be joining the squad for pre-season.

"Juan Cuadrado is a Chelsea player. He will come back very soon. He's in our squad, I'm very happy to have him and train him," said the former Italy boss.

"I wanted him when I was a coach at Juventus and he will come back very soon and train and play with us.

"Now, he's a Chelsea player and he'll stay with us. If something changes you'll know."
