Clement backs Abraham to start scoring

Cape Town - Swansea City manager Paul Clement insists striker Tammy Abraham will soon be hitting the back of the net after two games without a Premier League goal.

The 19-year-old missed a few important chances in both the goalless draw with Southampoton and the 4-0 defeat to Manchester United.

However, Clement has faith in the young on-loan Chelsea striker and is confident he will soon be putting away his chances.

"I think both Tammy and Jordan (Ayew) needed to do better when the ball was played forward to them (against Manchester United)," Clement said, according to Goal.

"This was Tammy's second game at this level, aside from two substitute appearances at Chelsea. He is now starting Premier League games.

"It is going to be a brilliant learning experience for him, but at the same time he is not here on work experience.

"He is here to deliver. He knows that and I am sure it is a matter of time before he is scoring goals."
