Chelsea's Kante injured playing for France

Cape Town - It’s bad news for Chelsea as midfielder N’Golo Kante was withdrawn due to injury while playing for France against Bulgaria.

An early goal from Blaise Matuidi did the job for Les Bleus in Sofia, but Kante left the pitch in the first-half of the 1-0 win and now could be absent for upcoming Premier League matches.

The Blues have already lost Alvaro Morata to injury ahead of Saturday’s trip across London to face Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

That will likely mean that Michy Batshuayi will get his chance to impress up front, while Cesc Fabregas and Tiemoue Bakayoko will partner-up in midfield.
