Blind wants United stay

Cape Town - Manchester United utility man Daley Blind says he wants to remain at Old Trafford amid speculation he will be sold at the end of the season.

Reports in British media claim United manager Jose Mourinho isn't a fan of the Netherlands international, despite featuring prominently in the first team this term.

With the Red Devils competing on all fronts, having reached the FA quarter-finals and winning the EFL Cup, Blind made 38 appearances in all competitions.

And with his contract set to expire in June 2018, the 27-year-old says he is in no rush to leave the Theatre of Dreams.

"I do not really know anything yet about my future," he told the Daily Mirror. 'I have not really thought about it either.

"But which player would not want to stay at Manchester United? That is the only thing I can say about it."
