Cape Town - Ajax Amsterdam wonderkid Riechedly Bazoer has dismissed speculation linking him with a move to the English Premiership.
The 19-year-old midfielder, who is also comfortable in defence, has reportedlyattracted the interest of Arsenal and Chelsea since breaking into the Dutch national team.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger admitted he tried to sign Bazoer three years ago but it seems the Blues have stepped up the chase for the starlet after reportedly meeting up with his agent, Irchandly Bazoer, on Friday.
Despite the widespread interest in the Netherlands international, Bazoer has played down the speculation, saying his mind is solely on improving his game at de Godenzonen.
"I am very happy at Ajax," Bazoer told De Telegraaf.
"I am developing well here, the coach believes in me and I have a contract with the club until 2020. I am not thinking about other clubs yet.
"I am proud to have become an undisputed starter at Ajax, but I am going through a difficult period at the moment to be honest.
"I am working really hard in training in order to reach the level from the first half of the season again. I am not saying I have been in bad form, but I always demand more from myself."
After making his debut in 2013, Bazoer has scored five goals and registered four assists in the 37 times he's featured for the Ajax first-team squad.
