Alli expected to be fit for Arsenal tie, says Pochettino

Cape Town - Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has revealed that injured midfielder Dele Alli should be ready to face Arsenal after the international break.

The England international missed out on Spurs' 1-0 win over Crystal Palace on Sunday due to a hamstring injury, but Pochettino expects him to be back in contention for the north London derby on November 18.

"Dele Alli against Manchester United finished the game feeling his posterior tendon, close to the hamstring, and then played 90 minutes against Real Madrid," Pochettino said, according to the Evening Standard.

"It's a very, very, very small thing. It was a massive risk (to play him) again. We're sure he'll be ready for Arsenal. We hope he's going well in the next few weeks and will be available."

The 21-year-old has made 13 appearances for Spurs in all competitions this season, scoring seven goals, including two in the Champions League, and providing one assist.

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
