Agent issues delaying Iheanacho's Foxes move

Cape Town - Kelechi Iheanacho's transfer from Manchester City to Leicester City is reportedly on hold due to a dispute the Nigerian is having with his former agency.

It is believed that a fee of around £25 million was agreed on between the two clubs nearly a month ago.

But according to the CompleteSportsNigeria website, the deal has stalled due to a dispute over image rights between the 20-year-old Super Eagles striker's current (Stellar Group) and former (First Eleven Management) agencies.

"Kelechi got himself in this mess not allowing his existing deal to run out before jumping at another one," a source said to be close to the player told the website.

"The court will decide his fate in the coming days but he has tried to settle out of court by offering them (First Eleven Management) more money but they refused by demanding at outrageous fee," the source added.
