West Brom's transfers rated

Cape Town - West Brom have managed to keep Saido Berahino despite four bids from Spurs - whether or not they get him to play after he threatened to strike is a whole other question.

West Bromwich Albion's transfers rated: 8.5/10

Berahino aside, the Baggies did well to bring McClean and Evans to the club. Salomon Rondon remains the signing to watch.

Transfer summary:

In: James McClean (Wigan, £1.5m), James Chester (Hull, £8m), Rickie Lambert (Liverpool, £3m), Serge Gnabry (Arsenal, loan), Salomon Rondon (Zenit St Petersburg, £12m), Jonny Evans (Manchester United, undisclosed), Anders Lindegaard (Manchester United, undisclosed)

Out: Graham Dorrans (Norwich City, undisclosed), Chris Baird (Derby County, free), Youssouf Mulumbu (released), Jason Davidson (released), Brown Ideye (Olympiakos, undisclosed), Joleon Lescott (Aston Villa, £2m)

Best bit of business: Keeping Saido Berahino.

Worst bit of business: Keeping Saido Berahino against his wishes.
