Cape Town – Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur target, Jay Rodriguez, has been offered a new five-year contract from Southampton.

Yaya Toure will have talks with Manchester City chiefs while on tour as the Ivorian looks to quit The Blues. City are planning to capture Everton young gun, Ross Barkley, and former Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba, if Toure finds a way out of the Ethihad.

Besiktas are in talks with Chelsea over the possible sale of Demba Ba.

Norwich midfielder, Leroy Fer, has attracted many clubs but not from QPR his agent confirmed.

Daryl Janmaat is on the verge of joining Newcastle United as Alan Pardew continues to expand The Magpies squad.

Liverpool have signed Serbian winger, Lazar Markovic, from Portuguese side Benfica.

Arsenal are on the brink of signing Sami Khedira for a reported fee of £24.

Manchester United are set to offer Juventus, Nani, in order to land Arturo Vidal. The Chilean is calm about the possible move of playing in England and says that if a deal does not happen that he is already at a great club. “I’m already at a great team, Juventus, so I will be just as calm if the Manchester United option falls through.” AC Milan are also said to be interested in Nani as they have contacted United about the possible move for the winger.

QPR are finalising deals for Rio Ferdinand and Steven Caulker. AC Milan are considering signing Adel Taarabt on a permanent basis.

If Manchester City signs Eliaquim Mangala it could lead to Matija Nastasic leaving the club.

Arsenal target, Keylor Navas, is set to join Real Madrid after Los Blancos agreed to meet the player’s release clause of £7.9m.

Stoke City are in talks with Barcelona for the former Ajax loanee, Bojan Krkic.

Turkish club, Trabzonspor, is interested in signing Kolo Toure from Liverpool.

Feyenoord have sold Bruno Martins Indi to Porto for a reported £6m.

John Obi Mikel has been linked with a move to the Serie A. Chelsea are also set to announce the signing of Brazilian left-back Filipe Luis.

Everton has targeted £14m Colombian Carlos Bacca.
