Wantaway star wants Saints to honour agreement

Cape Town - Desperate to leave Southampton before the end of the month, Morgan Schneiderlin hopes the club will honour a gentlemen's agreement.

According to the
Daily Mail, France international Morgan Schneiderlin has not given up hope of a move to Tottenham Hotspurs before the transfer window closes on August 31.

The midfield insists that a club official entered into a verbal agreement before he signed a new deal in February 2013.

Schneiderlin has been left frustrated after changes in ownership and a manager has left the club in a precarious position.

After a mass exodus of the club's top players, Schneiderlin is now relying on the club to honour the verbal agreement made by the previous management to force through a move to join Mauricio Pochettino at Spurs.
