Cape Town - Almost forgotten since joining Manchester City in 2012, Scott Sinclair may finally be set for a move away from the Etihad.
Sky Sports report that Aston Villa have opened talks with Manchester City for a deal to bring the 25-year-old midfielder to Villa Park.
With just three starts in two-and-a-half years, Sinclair would be wise to make the move join Paul Lambert at Aston Villa.
Sinclair rose to prominence in Brendan Rodgers' Swansea City side, where he netted 36 times in 91 appearances and made the move from Wales to Manchester for a fee of £6.2 million.
Aston Villa have reportedly opened the door for other clubs to hijack the deal as they have not yet agreed to match City’s asking price of approximately £2.5 million.
