Villa move into danger zone

Bolton - Aston Villa moved closer to the Premier League relegation zone after missing a second-half penalty and losing 3-2 to Bolton in the Premier League on Saturday.

Substitute Ivan Klasnic scored the winning goal for Bolton with only four minutes left after Ashley Young had failed to give Villa a 3-1 lead in the 70th from the penalty spot.

Darren Bent and Marc Albrighton twice put Villa ahead only to be hauled back by a brace from Gary Cahill.

Bolton then snatched its winner when Chung-yong Lee's deep cross from the left was headed back by David Wheater for Klasnic to blast home.

Bolton continues to challenge for a European spot with 40 points, seven more than Villa. Both have played 29 matches.
