Cape Town - Manchester United have no hope of bringing Nemanja Vidic back to Old Trafford in January, according to the player's agent.

The Express report that Nemanja Vidic will not be returning to Manchester United.

The 33-year-old Inter Milan defender was linked with a sensational January return to the club where he spent nine seasons but the player's agent has immediately attempted to distance the tough-tackling defender from the reports.

"It is lies. Nemanja has a three-year deal with Inter and will not leave Milan." said agent Silvano Martina.

"There has been little respect shown towards my client. As soon as Inter lost a few games, people did not think twice to attack Vidic and point to him as the sole culprit. But I repeat: he will not leave Inter."

The Serbian defender left Manchester United at the end of last season on a free transfer after the club decided not to offer the Serbian defender a new deal.
