Cape Town - Former Barcelona goalkeeper Victor Valdes wants to stay at Manchester United amid speculation he could be joining Robin van Persie and Portugal winger Nani in the Turkish Superlig.
AS report that the player's agent has rubbished reports that Valdes is in talks with Turkish club Antalyaspor.
Ginés Carvajal, Valdes' agent, revealed that the Spanish goalkeeper has received several offers from Turkey but denied Antalyaspor's claims that he has met with the club.
"But I haven’t’ spoken with the president of the Turkish club in question. I don’t know him. I have no plans to talk with them again as my player has no interest in a move to Antalyaspor" said Carvajal.
"His only wishes are to remain at Manchester United and he has another year left on his contract."
Valdes spent the season on the bench as understudy to David De Gea. De Gea's own future at Old Trafford is in doubt which could see Valdes elevated to number one this season.
Robin van Persie and Nani have both joined Fenerbahce in the past week.
