United's misfortune in numbers

Cape Town - This are going from bad (Moyes) to worse (van Gaal) as Manchester United struggle to deal with life after Sir Alex Ferguson.

The Telegraph have outlined NINE numbers that prove United are in (BIG) trouble!

4 - Records were made to be broken. Leicester were the first promoted side to score four or more against United.

- Manchester United have never had so few points after five English Premiership games.

10 - Ten wins out of ten before Sunday. 

12 - Number of goals, in just six games, van Gaal's team has already conceded. It took Moyes' team 11 games to concede that many. 

22 - That's how long it has been since the Red Devils were so low on the league table after five games.  

30 - Three decades since Manchester United lost, in any competitionm after being two goals up. On that day it was Nottingham Forest who beat United 3-2. 

36 - 36 tomatoes in a bottle of All Gold Tomato sauce and 36 years since the Old Trafford since were beaten 5-3. West Bromwich Albion held that honour after a 5-3 win in December 1978.

853 - United conceded fives goals and lost a game in the process for only the fifth time in 853 previous matches. 

40 000 000 - That's how many pounds Manchester United spent more than any other EPL club in the summer transfer window.
