United wouldn't pay £60m for Reus

Cape Town - Manchester United failed to take their interest in Marco Reus further after balking at his price tag.

ESPN report that Borussia Dortmund set the German international's price tag at £60 million.

The Red Devils and their German counterparts had already completed the loan deal for Belgium winger Adnan Januzaj when the English giants sought out a deal for Reus.

Dortmund reportedly were willing to sell Reus and valued the 26-year-old star at £60 million.

Manchester United failed to match the asking price for the versatile playmaker, who has earned 25 caps at senior level for Germany.

Reus, known for his speed and technique, failed to secured a move to Old Trafford after Manchester United set their budget for the player at £50 million.
