Cape Town - Juventus are confident of agreeing a contract extension with Paul Pogba but if they fail, Manchester United are ready to swoop for their former player.
The Daily Express report that Manchester United are closely monitoring the position at the Turin club regarding Paul Pogba's future.
Arguably the biggest talent to slip through the cracks at Old Trafford, Pogba has gone on to shine for club and country since making the move to Italy.
The young French star's current deal expires in 2016 but Juventus CEO Beppe Marotta is confident that the player will sign a new deal with the "Old Lady" shortly.
"Pogba? We have had some negotiation with his agents, we hope to arrive at a positive conclusion shortly." said Marotta.
If Pogba fails to pen a new deal in Turin, Juventus will be forced to cash in on their prized asset at the end of this season. Chelsea will reportedly rival Manchester United for his signature.
