Wayne Rooney's knee injury is not as bad as first feared and the forward will be available for the match against third-placed Southampton.
Manchester United managed to beat Stoke City on Tuesday without their talisman but with their four match winning streak on the line, Rooney is set to be included in the match-day squad against the Saints.
Fourth-placed Manchester United travel to St. Mary's Stadium on Monday, December 8 to face Southampton.
