Cape Town - Manchester United have been handed a boost in their efforts to bring Chile midfielder Arturo Vidal to England.
The Daily Star report that Juventus are set to question the player following a disciplinary charge for breaking team protocol.
The Chilean midfielder will have to answer to club officials following reports he was out at a nightclub until 05:00 just days before the vital Serie A fixture against AS Roma.
Various reports in Italy speculate that Vidal is attempting to force Juventus into selling him to Manchester United.
Vidal was fined £80 000 for the incident with Giuseppe Marotta, the club's CEO, pondering further sanctions against the 27-year-old midfielder.
Juventus signed Vidal from Bayer Leverkusen in 2011 with the midfielder closing in on 100 caps for the club.
Manchester United are thought to be interested in returning in January to try broker a deal for the player.
