United blunder sees fans scoring big

Cape Town - There are thousands of smiling Red Devils' fans all over the world after a website glitch afforded them a massive discount on the team's new 2014/15 English Premiership kit.

The Daily Mail are suggesting at least 4 000 Manchester United fans scored big after taking adavantage of club's website offered the new 2014/15 kit at less than half price.

The website made a real hash of things by allowing fans to purchase the new shirt for £22 which is normally priced at £55.

Those loyal fans who purchased the full kit scored a "brace" as they paid just £37 for the full kit when it should cost £92.

Reports suggest the club lost £200,000 as fans cashed in.

In typical supporter fashion, the lucky fans took to Twitter to celebrate their win:

Ricky Sidhu wrote: "Buzzing if the Man U store honours the glitch yday, would mean I got the united away kit for £32"

Kevin 'The FutHub' added: "Man U messed up the pricing on their website I just bought a $90 kit for $43"

Muhammad Rabi boasted: "Just got the new Man U home kit for 1/2 price!"
