Cape Town - Robin Van Persie is reportedly wanted by Turkish Superlig side, Fenerbahce, but is not interested in the move.
The Daily Star are reporting that the Netherlands striker has attracted interest from Turkish Superlig side, Fenerbahce.
Reports suggest the Turkish club wanted Van Persie to join the club in January but the player is not keen on such a move.
Van Persie has struggled so far this season with inceased doubts surrounding the 31-year-old's future at Old Trafford following the arrival of Colombian star Radamel Falcao.
Matt Le Tissier, former Southampton star turned football pundit, is of the opinion that Van Persie's star is beginning to diminish.
“It is a bit of a struggle for van Persie,” Le Tissier told Sky Sports.
“I am not sure he is not feeling uncomfortable at the amount of great talent that is around him.
"He always seemed to thrive when he was the main man. At the moment he is nowhere near that.
“He is not finding his form and maybe he might be at that point in his career where he has gone just past his best and he is on his way down a little bit.
" It gets highlighted when you are playing in such a high-profile team. If you are not doing it, you should come in for some stick.”
Van Persie may be afforded his last chance to persuade Louis van Gaal that he is the number one hitman at United when Manchester United host Crystal Palace.
Palace travel to Old Trafford on Saturday (17:00) following their loss against Sunderland and are precariously place in 17th position on the log.
