Tchoyi hat-trick stuns Magpies

Newcastle - Somen Tchoyi scored a second half hat-trick on the final day of the Premier League season to lead West Bromwich Albion from three goals down to a 3-3 draw at Newcastle.

Steven Taylor's scrappy close-range finish put Newcastle ahead in the 16th minute before Peter Lovenkrands added a contentious second in the 39th. Jonas Olsson's 47th-minute own goal appeared to seal West Brom's fate but the Baggies rallied after the break.

Cameroon midfielder Tchoyi slotted in his first in the 62nd, fired in a second in the 71st and completed a superb comeback with an injury-time header.

West Brom finished 11th in the standings, one point and one place ahead of Newcastle.
