London - A Premier League footballer has been fined and warned about his future conduct after admitting to betting on matches.
England's Football Association says Swansea striker James Demetriou was sanctioned in relation to 13 bets placed on football matches between December 3, 2013, and January 21, 2015.
It was not disclosed Tuesday if any of the matches involved Swansea.
Demetriou, who is a fringe player with the Welsh club, was fined £700.
