Swansea City swoop past QPR

Swansea - Late goals from South Korea midfielder Ki Sung-yeung and Wayne Routledge have steered Swansea to a 2-0 victory over struggling Queens Park Rangers in the Premier League on Tuesday.

Ki broke the deadlock with a fine solo effort in the 78th minute after collecting the ball from Ivory Coast striker Wilfried Bony.

Ki beat a defender and then unleashed a shot from a narrow angle that flew into the bottom right corner off the base of the post.

Routledge drove home Swansea's second goal from 20 yards just five minutes later to seal the points.

Swansea is firmly in the top half of the table, while QPR remains mired in the relegation zone.
