Cape Town - Swansea City are ready to listen to offers for Wilfried Bony after failing to persuade the striker to stay with Welsh club.
According to the Mirror, Wilfried Bony has a £19 million release clause in his contract with the club.
With the player demanding to leave, Swansea are being forced to consider offers below that mark as they player is determined to force through a move away from Wales.
Bony, who only moved to Swansea last season, scored 25 goals in his first season in the English Premiership and now wants to challenge himself at a bigger club.
Liverpool is believed to be the player's preferred destination with Tottenham thought to be a viable alternative.
Swansea boss Garry Monk refuses to believe Bony is a lost cause and hopes that the Ivorian hit-man will stay with the club this season.
Monk said last week: “I’ve said all along how important Wilfried is to us and what a good player he is. For me I can help him become an even better player this season.”
