Sunderland stroll past Norwich

Sunderland - Sunderland recorded its fourth win from its past five Premier League matches, beating Norwich 3-0 on Wednesday to maintain its revival since manager Martin O'Neill took over the club.

Fraizer Campbell scored with a dipping volley in the 21st minute in his first league match since August 2010 following a series of injuries.

Stephane Sessegnon made it 2-0 with a header seven minutes later, and Norwich center back Daniel Ayala ensured it was a terrible night for the visitors at the Stadium of Light by scoring an own goal in the 54th minute.

Sunderland rose three spots to eighth, while Norwich dropped one place to 11th.

The win extended O'Neill's run since he replaced Steve Bruce to two losses in 11 games in all competitions.
