Cape Town - Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has confirmed he wants to return to his former club Ajax Amsterdam in future.
The Metro reports that Suarez, who started his career at Ajax, would love the opportunity to return to the club that taught him everything he knows about football.
"I would definitely go back to Ajax," he told Helden Magazine.
"Even if the coach there doesn’t want me, I’m going. Definitely. Ajax is very important for me: ideal club, taught me a lot, using both feet, playing with the ball and being a team player".
Having scored 81 goals in 110 appearances for the Eredivisie club where he made a name for himself, Suarez confirmed that he is desperate to finish his career with the Dutch club.
While possible transfer talks with Ajax may happen sometime in the future, Suarez is not eyeing the switch just yet and has assured Liverpool fans he is staying put on Merseyside for the time being.
