Cape Town - Liverpool striker Daniel
Sturridge, who continues to miss the Reds' Premier League campaign and is
expected to remain on the sidelines until 2015, is determined to return from
injury better and stronger than ever.
The England forward hasn't played for the Reds since August, and is set to be missing until the new year after picking up a new thigh problem, reports the Mirror.
Sturridge has had to look on as Brendan Rodgers' side have suffered their worst start to a league season in 22 years, taking just eight points from their last nine matches, putting them 12th on the league table.
Sturridge tweeted: "Through all this I'm growing as a man and an athlete.
"Everybody goes through things in their life that can make or break them. This for me is just another hurdle to jump over. Another door to break down.
"I'll be back soon enough strong and ready to play. Thanks to everyone for your support."
