Stoke add to Wolves' woes
Stoke - Peter Crouch plunged Wolverhampton Wanderers closer to relegation by clinching a 2-1 victory for Stoke over the Premier League's bottom club on Saturday.
Crouch sent a looping header over goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey in the 61st minute after latching onto Jermaine Pennant's free kick.
Michael Kightly had put Wolves in front in the 26th minute, but Robert Huth drove home an equaliser before half-time.
With six matches remaining, Wolves are six points adrift of Wigan and Blackburn, who occupy the other two drop zone places.
Stoke are safely in mid-table in 11th.
