Cape Town - Raheem Sterling is close to putting pen to paper on a new Liverpool contract which will see him triple his wages.
The Daily Star report that Sterling is close to signing a £100,000-a-week deal with the Reds.
Sterling, who currently earns £30,000-a-week at Liverpool, will also have a buy-out clause inserted into his new deal.
The 19-year-old winger, who has become a star for both club and country, will be allowed to leave the club if his £60 million buy-out clause is matched by a potential suitor.
Brendan Rodgers is keen to tie Sterling down on a new long-term deal after seeing Luis Suarez depart last season.
