Johannesburg - According to media reports in England, South African defender Bongani Khumalo is one of 10 players that have been placed on Tottenham Hotspur’s transfer list.
According to the Soccer-Laduma website, the 26-year-old has endured a difficult time at White Hart Lane since joining from SuperSport United in 2011, struggling to break into the club’s first team throughout the length of his stay, spending time on loan with Preston North End, Reading and Greek club, PAOK.
It now seems that the centre-back will have to be on the lookout for a new permanent club as he attempts to get his career back on track and try and force his way back into Gordon Igesund’s Bafana Bafana plans.
According to the reports, Khumalo, as well as Emmanuel Adebayor, Jermain Defoe, Tom Huddlestone, Scott Parker, Iago Falque, Andros Townsend, Benoit Assou-Ekotto, Brad Friedel and Heurelho Gomes are all due to be sold to the highest bidder.
