London - Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has received a warning from the Football Association for criticising the performance of a referee in the team's Premier League defeat to Stoke.
Redknapp was unhappy with Chris Foy's display in Spurs' 2-1 loss at the Britannia Stadium on Sunday, saying "from the start of the game I felt like he wasn't going to give us much".
After reviewing the comments, the FA decided against charging Redknapp but sent him a written note "warning him as to his future conduct".
Spurs had defender Younes Kaboul sent off and had two penalty appeals for handball turned down by Foy as their 11-match unbeaten run came to an end.
