Manchester - Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini says striker Sergio Aguero could be back in action next week after being out for almost a month with a calf injury.
The 25-year-old Argentine is City's top scorer this season with 19 goals but has not played since the 6-3 win over Arsenal on Dec. 14.
Aguero, however, is back in training and could be available for City's Premier League game against Cardiff on Jan. 18.
Pellegrini says "Aguero continues working and maybe next week he can be fit."
City has won six of its seven games in Aguero's absence and is currently second in the Premier League, one point behind Arsenal.
