Seamus Coleman not for sale

Cape Town - Everton will refuse to negotiate any deal which would see Seamus Coleman exit the club this summer.

The Liverpool Echo report that Manchester United will face an impossible battle to lure Seamus Coleman away from Goodison Park.

After failing to convince Dani Alves to quit the Nou Camp for Old Trafford earlier this summer, Louis van Gaal has reportedly turned his attention to the Everton right-back.

The Irish 26-year-old fits the bill when it comes to the versatile players the Manchester United manager likes to have at his disposal but it seems unlikely that Coleman will be running out in red next season.

Coleman's contract expires in 2019 after agreeing a long-term extension last year and remains a vital part of the Everton side.

Coleman is one the league's most consistent right-backs and has scored 19 goals in 185 appearances for the Toffees.
