Schweinsteiger hints at exit

Cape Town - Reports in Spain suggest that German international midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger could leave Bayern Munich.

The Express report that Chelsea and Manchester United have been put on alert as Bastian Schweinsteiger hints that he could move abroad.

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal worked with Schweinsteiger during his time as boss of Bayern Munich and played a key role in shifting the 30-year-old international from a winger into a central midfielder.

The World Cup winner's contract at Bayern expires at the end of next season and according to reports in Spain, Schweinsteiger admits in his upcoming autobiography he may yet decided to leave the Bundesliga.
