Santi's 'panenka' complete special day

Cape Town -  After a brace against Newcastle, Santi Cazorla says a win was the "perfect way" to celebrate his 30th birthday.

The Spaniard chipped in Arsenal's second before completing the 4-1 win with a deflty-taken penalty known as a panenka.

Cazorla is pleased to be back among the goals but insists that victories are more important than any personal targets.

"I'm very happy," Cazorla told Arsenal Player.

"It's the best way to celebrate my birthday.

"The team played well today and the most important thing was to get the three points. Now we have one week's rest before a big game against Liverpool.

"The team had good experience today and we had the right spirit. We need to play every game like we did today. In the last game against Stoke City, the first half was very bad for us, today the team played better.

"It's a good week for us because we play a lot of games and now we have one week's rest. We have to prepare well for a big game against Liverpool and enjoy Christmas with the team."
