Sandro confirms Sherwood exit

Cape Town - Brazilian midfielder Sandro, or 'the Beast' as Spurs fans call him, says the club will sack manager Tim Sherwood in the next couple of days.

"Sherwood will leave at the end of the season", Sandro, who was dropped from the team after a falling out with the manager, told ESPN Brazil.

After publicly mocking his boss on Twitter, Sandro says he is looking forward to his future at the club because it won't include Sherwood.

According to the Metro, Sandro isn't the only one who will be happy to see the back of Sherwood, as many Tottenham fans are keen to see a more experienced manager arrive in the summer.

Spurs are currently sixth in the league and will face Aston Villa in their final game of the season on Sunday.
