Saints finally unveil Djuricic

Cape Town - Filip Djuricic says he’s looking forward to showing everybody what he can do after finally linking up with Southampton on Tuesday.

The Serbian playmaker completed a deadline-day loan move to the club but was prevented from beginning to train while he waited for a work permit.

With those issues now resolved, Djuricic joined up with the squad this morning ahead of Wednesday’s game against West Ham.

“Finally I’m here, and I’m really glad I’m here,” Djuricic said in an exclusive interview with Southampton’s official YouTube channel.

“I’ve met all of the guys in the club, and my first impressions have been really nice.

“When I heard that Southampton was interested in me, I was really happy. I think it’s a good opportunity for me, and I hope I will have some nice days here.”
