Rovers, Fulham in stalemate

Blackburn - Fulham remained unbeaten in the Premiership after Clint Dempsey's second-half equaliser on Saturday earned a 1-1 draw at Blackburn.

Dempsey met a cross from Carlos Salcido in the 56th minute and sent a powerful header past Paul Robinson for the equaliser.

Christopher Samba had given the host the lead in the 30th, taking advantage of sloppy defending to head the ball into an open net.

Fulham moved to seven points with their fourth draw in five games, while Blackburn have five.
