Neto tipped to replace Mignolet

Cape Town - Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers is targeting a January move for Fiorentina goalkeeper Neto and is willing to offer a bumper wage package to secure the deal.

The Metro report the Fiorentina's Neto will replace Simon Mignolet at Liverpool.

Neto's current contract in Florence expires at the end of the season, allowing Rodgers to make a cut-price offer for his services in January.

Reports in Italy suggest Liverpool will make an offer to good for the 25-year-old Brazilian to refuse.

Neto will be offered a £125,000-a-week deal to become the number one at Anfield.

AS Roma are also interested in signing the goalkeeper.
