Rodgers sack odds slashed

Cape Town - Bookmakers have slashed the odds on Brendan Rodgers to be the next English Premiership manager relieved of his duties.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers is now joint-second with QPR's Harry Redknapp to be the next coach fired this season.

Rodgers and Redknapp are behind Aston Villa Paul Lambert in the queue of managers to lose their jobs according to Skybet.

The odds on Rodgers have been slashed following a poor run by the Reds.

Skybet are now offering 4/1 odds on Liverpool being the next club to be looking for a new manager to guide their team.

Lambert remains best price at 11/4 to be axed from his job.

Rodgers will be hoping to return to winning ways when his Liverpool side host Stoke City at Anfield on Saturday. The match kicks off at 17:00.
