Cape Town - Former Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli will not be moving to Liverpool after Brendan Rodgers rubbished reports that his side were keen on the Italian bad-boy.
The Mirror reports that Brendan Rodgers has ruled out making a move to bring Balotelli back to the English Premiership.
“I was asked the question about Balotelli and spoke about what a talent he is and excellent player he is," said Rodgers.
Balotelli is available for just £15 million but Rodgers confirmed that he does not intend replacing Luis Suarez with Balotelli.
Balotelli has been impressive in his second stint in Italy, scoring 30 goals in 54 appearances for AC Milan.
Arsenal have also been linked with a move for Mario Balotelli.
