Ritchie stunner sinks Sunderland

Bournemouth - Bournemouth scored twice in the opening nine minutes to earn a 2-0 win over struggling Sunderland in the Premier League on Saturday.

Callum Wilson netted his fifth league goal of the season with a low shot in the fourth minute and Matt Ritchie doubled the lead with a stunning volley from outside the area five minutes later as the promoted seaside club earned its second victory of the campaign.

Sunderland went down to 10 men when Younes Kaboul earned his second yellow card in the 74th, and the loss left Dick Advocaat's team in last place with just two points from six games.

Ritchie's goal was the highlight of the game and came after a corner as he downed a failed clearance on his chest and then hit a left-footed volley into the top corner.
