Cape Town - The former president of Real Madrid has stated that the La Liga giants do not need to pursue David De Gea.
"We already have the best goalkeeper in the world, which is Casillas." Ramon Calderon toldtalkSPORT.
"We also have Keylor Navas. I don’t see any need to get any other goalkeeper."
Real Madrid have been linked with a move for David De Gea with the Manchester United star's current deal expiring in 18 months.
The 24-year-old Spanish goalkeeper has risen to the top of his game after initially struggling at Old Trafford.
"De Gea is perhaps also one of the best goalkeepers in the world but Casillas can still be at the top for three or four years. I don't see any need [for De Gea]." concluded Calderon.
