Rafael 'confirms' United exit

Cape Town - Brazilian defender Rafael Da Silva is closing in on a move to French club Lyon in a deal worth £2.1 million. 

Rafael all but confirmed his Manchester United exit with a single tweet on Sunday.

A fan of the Brazilian defender tweeted the right back with the message: "All the best Rafa. gutted to see one of our own move on. You always gave 100% and it wont be forgotten, A United legend. Good Luck"

The 25-year-old responded: "thanks mate".
