RVP's Turkey move imminent

Cape Town - Robin van Persie is expected to be unveiled as a Fenerbahce player as soon as Monday, according to reports.

Sky Sports sources report that the Dutch striker will travel to Turkey on Sunday ahead of his proposed move to Fenerbahce.

Van Persie's move to the Superlig was all but confirmed when the Turkish giants confirmed that talks were ongoing between Manchester United and Van Persie.

The 31-year-old striker is set to end his stay in the Premier League, where he has won one league title (with Manchester United) and one FA Cup (Arsenal).

Van Persie will join former Manchester United winger Nani at the Turkish giants withChelsea's Mikel also likely to quit England's Premier League for a move to the Turkish club.

Manchester United have decided to allow Van Persie to move on after spending three seasons at the club following his high-profile move from Arsenal in August 2012.
